Be it remembered that on this eighteenth day of January A.D. 1875, I , William B. Newton, of Shrewsbury, in the 
County of Worcester and State of Massachusetts, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make publish and 
declare this my last will and testament.  

First. After payment of my just debts and funeral charges I give to my son Lyman C. Newton of Boston, One dollar.		

Second. All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate real and [illegible] I give devise and bequeath to my wife 
Ann A. Newton, to have and to hold the same to her and to her heirs and executive and administrative, to her and 
their use forever, And I hereby appoint my said wife Ann A. Newton, to be the sole executrix of this my last will 
and testament.

presence, who in his presence, and in the presence of each other, at his request, have hereto set our names as
