Pratt Be it remembered, that I, Henry B. Pratt of Shrewsbury, in the county of Worcester and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, but knowing the uncertainty of life, do make and publish my last Will and Testament as follows, namely: In the first place, my just debts, funeral expenses and charges of administration are to be paid. Second. I give and bequeath to my daughter, Susan A Pratt, the sum of One hundred (100) dollars. Third. All the rest and residue of my estate both real and personal, of every kind, I give, bequeath and devise to my son Arthur E. Pratt. To have and to hold, the same to him and his heirs and assigns forever. Fourth. My other children, Frank B. Pratt, Ralph C. Pratt and Anna W. Newton, wife of Lyman C. Newton, being well provided for in earthly estate, I purposely omit giving them anything is in this Will, leaving them a Father's blessing, only. Fifth. I constitute and appoint my son Ralph C. Pratt, sole executor of this Will, and having entire confidence in his ability and integrity, I order that he may be exempt from sureties on his official bond. The testimony whereof, I the said Henry B. Pratt, hereunto set my hand and affix my seal, this ninth day October, A.D. eighteen hundred and eighty-nine. Henry B. Pratt. Seal. Signed, sealed, published and declared, by the said testator, as and for his last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, who, in his presence and in the presence of each other, at his request, subscribe our names as witnesses hereto.
