Lancaster, 1890 p.449 This burial ground contains four acres and was not opened for public use until 1855. The first interment being made in September of that year. The children of Luke and Eliza Bigelow. Mr. Nathaniel Burbank died July 22, 1818 aged 73. Mrs. Ruth Burbank, wife of Mr. Nathaniel Burbank, who died June 5, 1835 aged 82 yrs. Samuel W. Burbank, - Hannah his wife died Feb 17, 1840, AEt. 39 yrs. Mary A., his wife died July 29, 1844 AEt 41 yrs. Susan E. died July 30, 1825 AEt 2 yrs., 10 mos. H. Elizabeth who died Mar 23, 1843, AEt. 15 yrs. p.450 Lucianne who Died May 23, 1848, AEt. 17 yrs. 1 mo. Children of Samuel W. & Hannah Burbank. Harvey who died Dec 26, 1843 AEt. 4 mos. Ellen who died April 26, 1844 AEt. 3 mos. Children of Samuel W. & Mary A. Burbank. Henry L. son of Samuel W. & Olive R. Burbank Died Sept 9, 1848, AEt 10 mos. Frances Annie, Died Mar 24, Aged 2 yrs & 5 mos & 17 days. And James Harvey died March 28, 1849 aged 4 yrs, 10 mos & 3 days. Children of Anson & Elizabeth C. Burton. Sally Wilson, wife of George Dodge, died Mar 26, 1847, aged 38 yrs. H. Harrison son of J.W. & J. M. Huntington, b. July 24, 1840; died July 8, 1841. Joseph M., son of J. W. & J. M. Huntington, b. June 26, 1838; d. July 2, 1841. Horatio M., son of J. W. & J. M. Huntington b. June 26, 1836; died Sept 17, 1836. Julia Marie, dau of J. W. & J. M. Huntington b. Aug 25, 1823; died Sept 23, 1833. Deacon Jonas Lane died Jan 6, 1848 AE. 87 yrs. "Rest Weary Pilgrim." Dolly Ballard wife of Deacon Jonas Lane, died Feb 26, 1795 aged 27 yrs. "Early called but sadly mourned". Their children: Jonas Lane died Sept 5, 1791 aged 1 yr., 8 mos. Jonas (again) died Aug 29m 1797 aged 5 yrs. 10 mos. Eunice Kendall wife of Deacon Jonas Lane died Aug 12, 1807 aged 41 yrs. "Husband and Children - Farewell." Their children: Dolly Ballard died Mar 10, 1798 aged 1 yr & 1 mo. Elizabeth died Sept 13, 1805, Ae 2 mos.; Mary Ann died Sept 23, 1805, aged 3 yrs 1 mo. - An infant son born and died July 17, 1807. Potter, son of Alexander & Angelina Potter, died Aug 29, 1848, Aet. 1 yr. 1 month. "Lo, Children are a heritage of the Lord." Franklin, son of Moses & Eliza Stowe died Sept 23, 1847 aged 18. In Memory of Miss Mary Wares who died Nov 28, 1820 aged 21 yrs & 5 mos. "The human heart repines and grieves to part with kindred dear; But faith in God the mind relieves and wipes away the tears." Henry K. Washburn died March 21, 1845 aged 2 years & 6 months. "Ere sin could blight or sorrow fade, Death timely came with friendly care; The opening bud to Heaven conveyed, And bade it bloom forever there." Nehemiah B. Willard who died in Harvard, Oct 1, 1838 AET 42 yrs. Andrew J. Willard died in Harvard Jan 25, 1831 AEt 13 mos. Sidney G. Willard died in Harvard, July 22, 1834; AEt 1 month.
