With very small advantages of schooling in early life, Major Fisher acquired by habits of great and untiring industry, a good business education. He represented the town many years in the Legislature of this Commonwealth and served his fellow citizens long and usefully in various responsible offices He was an honest man, a useful citizen and a kind neighbor.
