I Abigail Arnold of Uxbridge in the County of Worcester and Commonwealth of Massachusetts Widow calling to mind the uncertainity of human life and being desirous of settling my worldly affairs while I have strength and capacity to so do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making null and void all other Wills and testaments heretofore made and first I commend my being to him who gave it and my boddy to the earth to be buried with little expense or ostentation by my Executor hereinafter named. And as to my worldly ----- and all the property real personal or mixed of which I shall die seized and possessed as to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease I devise bequeath and dispose thereof in the manner following viz: Imprimus my will is that all my just debts and funeral charges shall by my Executor hereinafter named be paid out of my ---- as soon after my decease as shall by them be found convenient. Item 1st I give and bequeath unto grand daughter Sarah Richardson wife of Anan Richardson all my household furniture of any description. also my carriage and my ---- and also one half of all my Securities for money which shall remain at my decease. also one half of my Bank stock which is in the Village Bank in Smithfield. Item 2nd I give and bequeath unto my daughter Almira Richardson wife of David Richardson all the half of my remaining securities for money and the other half of Bank stock in the Bank aforesaid. Item 3rd My daughter Mary Clark wife of Joseph Clark has had all that would belong to her and also my sons Manning, John and Smith Arnold have received theirs. And also the heirs of my deceased son Olney Arnold and Stephen received their share. 4th And lastly I do nominate and appoint Anan Richardson to be the Executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I the said Abigail Arnold have subscribed my name and affixed my seal this thirteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty. Abigail Arnold Signed sealed and delivered by the said Abigail Arnold to be her last will and testament in presence of us who at her request and in her presence have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto Job White Merril Buxton Gideon Mowry Commonwealth of Massachusetts Worcester SS At a Probate Court holdin at Worcester in and for said County of Worcester on the sixth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine On the petition of Anan Richardson of Uxbridge in the County of Worcester praying that the instrument therewith presented purporting to be the last will and testament of Abigail Arnold late of Uxbridge in said County of Worcester deceased, may be proved and allowed and letters testamentary issued to him the executor therein named, and the heirs at ----- of kind and all other persons interested having been duly notified according to the order of court to appear and show cause if any they ------ against the same and no party objecting thereto and it appearing that said instrument is the last will and testament of said deceased and legally executed and that said testatrix at the time of writing(?) the same of full age and sound mind and that said petitioner is a competent person to be appointed to said trust. It is therefore decreed that said instrument be approved and allowed as the last will and testament of said deceased and letters testamentary be issued to said petitioner he first giving bond with sufficient securities for the due performance of said trust Henry Chapin Judge of Probate Court AT a Court of Probate holdin Suttin(?) and for the County of Worcester July the 30th AD. 1870. An Instrument in writing purporting to be a copy of the last Will and testament of Abigail Arnold late of Uxbridge, Mass deceased, being presented to this Court to be foiled and recorded in the probate record of said Burrillville.
