Contributor's Note: This is from the family cemetery near
Lonaconing,Maryland.(Dan's Mountain), Election District 10, situated
on part of tract of land called "Ethiopia and the Isles". Currently
private property, not accessible to the general public. I have added
some additional information to some of the names that have the * 
before it.

James, born Sept. 2, 1805;died Feb. 18, 1876
I have gone to my house beyond the skies,Friends will meet me there
Mary J., wife of James;born Feb. 5, 1808,died May 29,1898.

Susan; 1856-1930. His wife.

aged 16 yrs, 3 mos, 24 dys *(was killed in a hunting accident)

Amelia, wife of E.H. Dye; born May 24,1880,died May 28,1908
aged 28 yrs, 4 dys. Gone for not forgotten

*(Collista's surname was Dye, the dau. of  John Dye)

aged 11 mos, 12 dys

Emma C., daughter of Jno. R. and E.C. Groves; died Dec. 16,1898,
