These records have been abstracted from Microfilm 0013314, from the Church 
of Latter Day Saints. Many of the records contained neither dates nor 
entries other than the name of the orphan and his/her guardian. Notes have 
been added concerning entries that may have a genealogical bearing. Entries 
concerned only with cash transactions have not been included.

As always, the clerks who prepared these records were not necessarily chosen 
for their penmanship abilities, although some of the entries were made in 
beautiful, flowery examples of the finest penmanship of the time. Others 
were much easier to read. Therefore, please check under all possible spellings 
for any names being researched.
