Willison, Jr., at the Maryland Archives, location #8-0-50-12-37, Box 22 She suspects Hamilton was posting bond for his brother in law, Willison. She only found scraps of paper in the boxes, never an entire trial. From the complaint, it seems that Mr Willison was causing trouble for Mr House, so Mr House filed a complaint, and Mr Willison had to visit the Justice of the Peace, Mr North. ________ Maryland, Allegnay Co., to wit: Whereas complaint has been made before me the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace for said County, appears the information?? of ENOUCH HOUSE that the said ENOUCH HOUSE is offering that WM. WILLISON, JR, with ____ paid in full or _____ his property or cause some other person or persons to do such ____ and that he has just cause to be afraid and that he does no require such ____malice or ___. Therefore you are commanded to apprehend the said WM. WILLISON, JR, bring him before said justice of peace of this the said State to ____as well for his personal appearance at the next County Court to be held in and for the said County and also for keeping the peace in the meantime towards the citizens generally and chiefly toward ENOUCH HOUSE. Given under my hand and Seal this 20th day of January, 1837...GEORGE SLICER and LLOYD STALLINGS. On this the 27th day of Jan. 1837 before me the subscriber of the Justice of the Peace for the state and of the county aforesaid appears WM. WILLISON, JR. and acknowledges himself to owe and stand justly indebted to the state of Maryland in the sum of $100 currency. At the same time also appeared ROBERT HAMILTON and acknowledged himself to owe and stand justly indebted to the state aforesaid in the sum of $50 currency which they respectively yeilded and granted should be levied and made of their several goods and chattels, lands and tenements for the use of the state of Maryland upon condition nevertheless that if the said Wm. Willison, Jr. shall make his personal appearance at our next county court before the justice thereof held at the courthouse in Cumberland in and for the said ____on the 3rd Monday of April next and then and there answer what shall be alledged against him by ENOCH HOUSE of Allegany County contrary to the peace and government of the state of Maryland and shall not depart the said court but attend the same from day to day until he shall have first obtain leave thereof, and the said WM. WILLISON, JR. shall also keep the peace generally and more especially towards ENOCH HOUSE aforesaid for the time of one year next ensuing the date here of then this recognisance to be void and none effect otherwise of full force and virtue in law.
