THIS DEED, made this 30th day of June 1869 between Nelson Beall and Caroline Beall, his wife, of the first part and James Dando of the second part, all of Allegany County and the State of Maryland. WITNESSETH that for and in cosideration of the sum of $500.00, $300.0 of which was cash in hand paid to the said parties of the first part, by the said party of the second part and the balance is to be paid as follows TO WIT: $100.00 on the 26th day of June 1870 and the other $100.00 on the 26th day of June 1871. Both payments to bear interest from date (and it is expressly agreed that the said two payments shall be and remain a sum upon the premises herein and thereby conveyed until the same is fully paid and discharged). The said parties of the first part do grant, bargain and sell unto the said James Dando his heirs and assigns all those six lots of land situated in said Allegany County. Known as lots Nos 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14. Block No 24 of Bealls First Addition to the Town of Frostburg, begnning for the same at the south-east corner of Lot No 8 of said block #24 and running thence with Hill Street south º, West 300 feet to German Street, and with it North 54º, West 150 feet to an alley and with it East 300 feet to said lot #8 and withit South 54º East 150 feet to the beginning so as to include all six of said lots. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD unto him the said James Dando, his heirs and assigns in the said premises (except the minerals which are hereby (reuived?) as (beret?) of one sold) forever. And the said Nelson Beall covenants to warrant and defend generally the said conveyed premises. WITNESS the following signatures and seals the day and year first herein written. Weis STATE OF MARYLAND, Allegany County TO WIT: I hereby certify that on this 30th day of June in 1869 before the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for Allegany County, personally appeared Nelson Beall and Caroline Beall his wife, and did each acknowledge the aforegoing deed to be their respective acts.
