Lot 203 Cumberland, Allegany County, Md.

At the request of Charles W. Breugle, This Deed was recorded May 6th 1870.
This Deed made this 5th day of May, in the Year Eighteen hundred and Seventy, 
by George M. Reid and Sarah C. W. Reid his wife of Allegany County in the 
State of Maryland. Witnesseth that in consideration of five hundred dollars, 
the said George M. Reid and Sarah C. W. Reid his wife (late widow of Morgan 
Rizer deceased) doth grant, bargain and sell unto Charles W. Breugle, of said 
County and State, all the dower interest of the said Sarah C. W. Reid in and 
to all that piece or parcel of ground lying in the City of Cumberland, 
Allegany County, Maryland, being part of lot numbered two hundred and three 
(203) one of the original Town Lots, as laid off by Commissioners in the Year 
1806 which part is contained within the following Metes and bounds, courses 
and distances, to wit: Beginning at a point on the East Side of South Mechanic 
Street, at which point is the beginning of said Lot No 203 and running with 
the first line thereof and with said Street North 35 degrees West 33 feet, 
then parallel with the second line of said lot North 74 1/2 degrees East 210 
feet to the Center of an alley twelve feet wide there with the center of said 
alley south 25 degrees East 33 feet to the given line of said lot and with 
said given line to the beginning. And also all the dower interest of the said 
Sarah C. W. Reid in and to all that part of Lot numbered two hundred and sixty 
nine upon which the South Western corner of the brick on these premises now 
stand.

State of Maryland, Allegany County to wit.
I hereby certify that on this 5th day of May, in the Year Eighteen hundred and 
seventy, before me the subscriber, a Justice of the peace of the State of 
Maryland in and for said County personally appeared George M. Reid and Sarah 
C. W. Reid his wife, and did each acknowledge the aforegoing deed to be their 
respective act.

Additional Comments:
The widower George M. Reid has married the widow Sarah C. W. Rizer and is 
selling her inhereted property.
