At the request of George M. Reid this Deed was recorded Dec 15th 1881 @ 10:45 
A.M.
This Deed made this 28th day of November in the year eighteen hundred and 
eighty one buy William H. Reid  & Mary R. Reid his wife of Allegany County 
Maryland and John Reid & Maria Reid his wife of Macon County, Illinois. 
Witnesseth that in consideration of forty dollars the said William H. Reid, 
Mary R. Reid, John T. Reid and Maria Reid do grant and convey unto George M. 
Reid of said Allegany County Maryland the two undivided elevenths in and to 
all that lot or parcel of ground lying in and being in the City of Cumberland 
which is described as follows: Beginning for the same at a stone marked M.R. 
standing on the South side Mechanic Street and at the corner of the house in 
which Martin Rizer heretofore resided and running thence with said street 
South 38 1/2 degrees East 60 feet to a stone then South 62 degrees West 280 
1/2 feet North 20 1/2 degrees West 60 feet and then by a straight line to the 
beginning it being the same lot or parcel of ground which was conveed to Maria 
Reid by S.P.Smith trustee by deed having date July 13th 1864 and recorded in 
Liber H.R. No.22 folio 90 &c one of the Land Records of said Allegany County 
and which said two undivided 11ths descended to the William H. Reid and John 
Reid as heirs at law of the said Maria Reid now deceased in fee simple.

        Allegany County to wit: I hereby certify that on this 28th day of 
November in the year eighteen hundred and eighty one before me the subscriber 
a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for said County 
personally appeared William H. Reid and Mary R. Reid his wife and did each 
acknowledge the forgoing deed to be their respective act.

        Macon County to wit: I hereby certify that on this 12th day of 
December in the year eighteen hundred and eighty one before me the subscriber 
a Notary Public of the State of Illinois in and for said County personally 
appeared John T. Reid and Maria Reid his wife and did each acknowledge the 
foregoing deed to be their respective act.
       In winess whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and
[SEAL] affixed my Notorial seal on the day and year aforesaid.

Additional Comments:
This quit claim for the last two siblings gives George M. Reid Jr. clear title 
to this portion of the inhereted property.
