Reynolds. Atty 5-19-1906] (not sure about the "D") THIS DEED, Made this seventh day of May, in the year one thousand nine hundred and six, by and between William A. Twigg and Sallie M. Twigg, his wife, of Allegany County, in the State of Maryland, parties of the first part, and Calvin L. Castle of Allegany County, in the State of Maryland, party of the second part, Witnesseth: That for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars, current money, well and truly paid by the party of the second part to the said parties of the first part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and for other good and valuable considerations, the said parties of the first part have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents to grant, bargain sell and convey, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, all that piece or parcel of ground lying in the City of Cumberland, Maryland, being part of Lot Number thirteen (13) in Walsh and Dougherty’s Addition to Cumberland, and described for the part hereby intended to be conveyed as follows, to wit: Beginning at a point on the Southerly side of Emily Street in said City of Cumberland, distant 14 feet and 1 inch from the beginning point of a deed from S. Rosembaum and others to the Real Estate and Building Company of Cumberland, Maryland, recorded among the Land Records of said Allegany County in Liber T.L. No. 77 folio 24 (said point of beginning of the lot hereby conveyed being also the division line or partition between the double frame house now occupied by Calvin L. Castle and William A. Twigg) and running thence with said Emily Street North 74-1/2 degrees East 16 feet and 5 inches to the line or corner of the frame house now occupied by Lookabaugh, thence at right angles with Emily Street and parallel with Maryland Avenue, South 15-1/2 degrees East 100 feet to a twenty feet Alley, then with said Alley South 74-1/2 degrees West 16 feet 5 inches, then North 15-1/2 degrees East 100 feet to the place of beginning. It being the same piece or parcel of land which was conveyed to the said William A. Twigg by William Pearre and others by deed bearing date of August 24th, in the year 1905, and recorded among the Land Records of said Allegany County in Liber J.W.Y. No. 97 folio 617, Reference to which said deed and record is hereby made for a further description of the property hereby intended to be conveyed. To have and to hold the above granted property, with all and singular the appurtenances thereto unto the said Calvin L. Castle, is heirs and assigns forever in fee simple.
