This Indenture made this eighth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and six, Between James Jolly of Allegany County, State of Maryland of the one part and Christopher Waggoner of the same county and State aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth that the said James Jolly for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and seventy five dollars current money to him in hand paid, before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge, and himself therewith content, and fully satisfied, the said James Jolly hath and by these presents doth, sell, make over, transfer, and convey to him the said Christopher Waggoner his heirs and assigns for ever, an Estate in fee simple of in and to the following Lott [?], piece or parcel of Land, to wit, Beginning at a stone standing near the bank of the Mill run and on the East side thereof, and within about perches of James M. Cresaps Mill and marked No. 1 and running thence South Seventy one degrees and one half degree East Eight perches and nine feet to a stone marked No. 2. thence north five degrees and and one half degrees ____ twenty one perches, and five feet to a stone marked No. three, thence north Eighty five degrees and one half degree west Eight perches and nine feet to a stone marked No. four, thence five degrees and one half degree west nineteen perches and ten feet to the beginning or first station at No. one containing one acre and five perches of land, more or less, To have and to hold the aforesaid Lott [?] piece or parcel of land with all the contents, improvements, ___ments and priviledges to the same belonging or pertaining to him the said Christopher Waggoner his heirs and assigns forever, as aforesaid ~ And the said James Jolly doth also hereby warrant and defend the aforesaid Lott, piece or parcel of Land to the said Christopher Waggoner his heirs and assigns from and against all manner of persons whatsoever.
