Phyllis Bowman Honored With Pre-Nuptial Shower
     A miscellaneous bridal shower was held for Miss Phyllis Bowman recently at
the home of Miss Eyelyn (sic) R. Frankfort, Bowling Green, with Miss Frankfort
and Mrs. Harold L. Warner, York, Pa., co-hostessed.
     The color scheme used in table arrangements and flowers was pink, yellow
and green.  Gifts were arranged under a sprinkling can with streamers of pink,
yellow and green leading to each.
     Guests were Mrs. Bertha Bowman, mother of the bride-to-be, Mrs. J. R.
Frankfort, Mrs. F. J. Creegan, Mrs. Daniel Nose, Miss Dorothy Coleman, Mrs. J.
P. Farrell, Miss Betty Bowman, Mrs. Frank Vandegrift, Mrs. Raymon O. Sanner,
Miss Elsie Bowman.
     Miss Bowman, daughter of Mrs. Bertha Bowman, 720 North Centre Street, will
become the bride of Gordon Hovatter, son of Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas, Frostburg,
August 23, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
