Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland 6 Apr 1911: 
"Denton Deffinbaugh Dead--Denton Deffinbaugh, a well known 
farmer living below this city near Town Creek, died 
yesterday evening, aged about 64 years.  The deceased is 
survived by a wife, three sons and two daughters.  The 
funeral will take place tomorrow, with interment in the 
family burying ground.  The deceased was well known in 
this city and a member of an extensive family connection."
