Mr. and Mrs. Donahue were married in 1909 by the late Rev. W. M. Stewart, then minister of the Baptist church, Westernport. Mrs. Donahue is the former Matilda Riggleman, of Luke. Mr. Donahue was retired by the B & O Railroad Company in January 1955 after 35 years of service. While working for the B & O he served as foreman on the work train and later as a watchman on the crossing at Childs avenue. Interested in baseball, he played in the Twilight league and also with the Sod Busters. Mr. and Mrs. Donahue have one daughter, Mrs. P. I. Runner, of Cumberland, three grandchildren and one great grandson. Mrs. Charles Barb, of Cumberland, sister of Mrs. Donahue, cut the cake. Miss Shiela Runner, a granddaughter, presided at the punch bowl, and another granddaughter, Miss Sheryl Runner, was in charge of the guest book. Their home was decorated in beautiful fall flowers, which were gifts from friends. Mr. and Mrs. Donahue also received many attractive gifts."
