Evening Times, Cumberland, MD  Nov. 13, 1907 November 13, 1907
Mrs. Felix Foote, of Watercliffe, was 48 years old Monday, and a party of her 
friends came entirely unannounced to celebrate the event.  Among the visitors 
were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gardner, Mr. and Mrs. Nat Somerville, Mr. and Mrs. 
William Harper, Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, Mr. and Mrs. William Foote, Mr. and 
Mrs. Joseph Stewart,Jr., Mrs. Wm. C. Abbott, Mrs. Joseph Screen, Mrs. James 
Crosser, Mrs. Joseph Stewart,Sr.,  Misses Emma Stallings, Sarah Robinson, Mrs. 
Felix Foote, Misses Jennie and Maud Smith, Marvin Beving, Dave Telford, John 
Chrichton, Nicola Quaranta, James Ashcroft, Jas. Morrison, Thomas Hamilton, 
William Foote.  Mesdames Gardner and Foote, William Foote, and Maud Smith 
sang, and John Smith told his queerest stories.  Supper was served at midnight 
and it was a great night in Watercliffe.
