Jacob Fichtner, of Palo Alto, spent Sunday in Hyndman. Miss Blanche Boor, of Cumberland Valley, visited relatives during the week. Miss Zuella Miller, of Madley, was in Hyndman Saturday as the guest of her brother, Prof. H. L. Miller. Mr. John Cuppett, of Mann's Choice, was in town calling on friends Saturday. Prof. Top Fetters, of Fossillville, was in Hyndman Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Henschke and daughter, Miss Nellie, returned yesterday from Myersdale, where they visited friends. Prof. George Horne, of Buffalo Mills, was a pleasant caller on friends here Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Alice Zembower, of Cumberland, was the guest of her sister, Mrs. Lucy Hite, last Friday. Henry Pick, employed at Fairhope Brick Works, spent Sunday here with his family. George Hillegass, of Salisbury, is here with relatives. Mrs. Edward Cook, of Napier, is visiting relatives here this week. The county school course examination will be held here Saturday, March 27. Prof. H. H. Deaner has been appointed examiner. Mr. and Mrs. Meisel of Cumberland, visited relatives here Sunday. Mr. B. B. Thompson, of Cumberland, spent Sunday here with his son, Benjamin, on Market street. Mrs. Cora Dollard, of Mann's Choice, spent a few hours here yesterday. William Mason, B. & O. engineer at Cumberland, spent yesterday here with his family. Miss Bertha May is spending some time with her friend at Tatesille, Pa. Mrs. Daniel Leonard was in Cumberland a few hours yesterday. Mr. William Clark, of Mann's Choice, visited relatives in Hyndman Saturday. Mrs. W. L. Malsberry rturned home Saturday, after a two weeks' visit with her daughter at Wills Creek. Austin May, operator at Mt. Savage Junction, was in town with friends Saturday. Charles Lehman, of Connellsville, visited his mother here over Sunday. Mrs. T. S. Knipple visited an ill relative at Mann's Choice Saturday. James Albright, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Albright, who hurt himself by falling off the fence is getting some better. Mrs. Cora Pierson, of Tyrone, Pa., is here with relatives. Manger Charles Dwyer, of the baseball club, called a meeting last night to arrange for the games of the coming season.
