Evening Times (Cumberland, MD) March 16, 1909
The brick works and tannery both are quiet, which makes our town pretty dul 
just now.  There are prospects that they will open up before a great while.

Mrs. Sarah Sturtz and Mr. W. A. Miller, who were ill, are reported better.

The committee of arrangements of the I.O.O.F. annual county reunion which will 
be held here, is beginning to look after their work.

Rev. A. Bielaski, of Cumberland, spent Saturday here assisting Rev. A. E. 
Spielman in holding quarterly meeting at the M. E. Church.
