Va. that David E. Dick of that place, and who is not unknown in Lonaconing, is writing able articles on the present strike, its causes and effects, for a Grafton paper. The strikers, so it is said, do not approve of David's attitude in this dispute between the miners and the Merchants Coal Company. In fact, David E. has not been honored as a prophet in the country. He is said to be in the oil business in Tunnelton, but he hasn't lubricated things up that way very much, either with his oil or with his pencil.
