Sydney Smith, of Carlos, is "high line" this season. He returned from the Potomac Saturday with several hundred fish. William Monohan, of Midland, is in Somerset, Pa., the past week or two. Mrs. Wm. Richards returned from Morgantown, W. Va., Sunday. Mr. Richards has purchased a restaurant in that city. Mrs. Janet Peebles and her grand-daughter, Sylvia Elliott, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy B. Schley, in Cumberland, this week. Mrs. Harry Click, of Braddock, is here visiting her people, the Dilfers, on Big Vein Hill. Miss Maggie Bradley, of Cumberland, was visiting her parents on Jackson street, Sunday.
