Canary Krouse and Geo. Gunnett have returned home from South Branch. High water interfered with their sport of fishing and hunting. They report the club is in good No. 1 trim, only wating on water to fail, etc. Canany brought back two samples of the eels they caught and gave one to Mr. Peter McGuire, who is in charge of Mr. John Hartig's business. The second one to a special friend on Bowery street. They report the club in good spirits and all in first-class health. Canany and George may return soon as the water falls. Canany says he is lucky enough to get down this time he will surely bring back the champion bass catch in one fish. There are three of the club contemplating catching the largest fish for a record. viz: Charles Ehms, John Hartig and Mr. Canany Krouse Additional Comments: Sub heading to the column: Bureau of the Evening Times, Frostburg, Md., Sept. 25 Mr. Krouse's first name was spelled two ways in the article.
