Mrs. D. P. Hartzell, of Cumberland, and children, are the guests of her mother, Mrs. Henry Williams, on East Main street, this week. Mrs. G. Merrbach has returned from a visit among Lonaconing relatives and friends. Mr. William Dillon, train master of the C. & P. R. R., of Cumberland, spent Tuesday the guest of his brother, Thomas G. Dillon, Union street. Ms. Herman Schroeder and sons, Willie and Robert, were the guests yesterday of friends in Westernport and Piedmont. Mrs. J. Aden Dillon and children of Cumberland, are the guests of Mrs. Dillon's mother, Mrs. Henry Williams, and other relatives in the mountain city this week. Miss Carrie Haberline has returned from a visit to friends in Barnum, W. Va. Rev. L. L. Wilderman, D D, of Baltimore, the agent for the Maryland Bible Society, was the guest of Rev. A. H. Thompson last night and preached at the evening service in the First M. E. church. Misses Sadie and Elsie Lewis and Virgie Porter, of Eckhart Mines, attended the dance in Evan's Operal House, Lonaconing, on Saturday evening. Mrs. John Wanobach, of Taylor st., and Mrs. Martin Hartig, of Hill st., have been spending some time in Washington, D. C., Baltimore and other places visiting friends and relatives, have returned home.
