It was held at Maplehurst Country Club. The former Miss Mary Keating, daughter of the late Thomas P. Keating, Lonaconing, became the bride of Mr. Woods, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Terence T. Woods, also of Lonaconing, August 3, 1926. The ceremony was solemnized in St. Mary's Catholic Church with the late Rev. J. Carroll Moore officiating. Mrs. Margaret Keating Miller was her sister's attendant and also was present at the dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Woods are the parents of three children, Margaret, at home, Thomas, Lonaconing, and John, who resides in College Park. They have three grandchildren. Mr. Woods retired as a freight agent for the Western Maryland Railroad in Frostburg in 1967 after nearly 50 years of service. The table was centered with a floral arrangement, a gift of the children, and a 2 tier cake decorated in gold and white leaves topped with a miniature bride and groom which had been on their original wedding cake.
