All Rights Reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/md/mdfiles.htm ********************************************************* "Cumberland Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland Mon 26 Feb 1945: "Westernport-Joseph Felix Bean, 53, Barton, and employe of the West Virginia Pulp and Paper company for 23 years, died Saturday night at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, where he had been a patient three weeks. He underwent an operation last Tuesday. A native of Barnum, W. Va., he was a son of John Bean, Barton and the late Mrs. Sarah J. (Barnhill) Bean and lived at Barton 50 years. He was a member of St. Gabriel's Catholic church at Barton. Besides his father, he is survived by four brothers, Samuel Bean, Barton; Frank Bean, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; John Bean, address unknown; and Thomas Bean, Royal Oak, Mich. The body was taken to the father's home in Barton. Services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock with a Requiem mass at St. Gabriel's church, Barton.
