"Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, Thurs 27 Jun 1907: 
"The funeral of Mr. John Beeman, son of Mr. Martin Beeman, who met his death by a 
fall of rock in 'Coney Small Vein, will take place from his late home at Midland 
Junction at 11 a.m. The services will be held at the U.B Church by the pastor. 
Interment in Matthew cemetery. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire 
community in this hour of affliction."
