Rev. P.J. Morahan, pastor at Keyser, was celebrant, Rev. John O'Hara, assistant pastor at Keyser, was deacon, and Rev. J. A. Caulfield, assistant pastor of St. Peter's Church, was sub- deacon. Rev. Father Morahan delivered the sermon. Rev. A. Scarpati and Rev. Russell Phelan, of St. Peter's Church, were in the sanctuary. The pallbearers were: Honorary, John Dorsey, Michael Gibblin, William Quinn, of Keyser; Frank Mayola, of Piedmont; active, Dennis Collins, Robert Davis, Ernest Wright, William Dorsey, of Keyser; William Kelly, of Piedmont; and John Donley, of Westernport. Out-of-town people here for the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Eackles, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Evans and Bertie Evans, of Harpers Ferry; Mrs. Pansy Byer, Mrs. Walter Moore, Mrs. Rose Byer, Mr. and Mrs. William Exminger, Hubert Donahue, Miss Gladys Murphy, Miss Marie Bissett, Miss Madeline Bissett, Mrs. Julia Hotchkiss, Miss Beatrice Manion, Mrs. Steve King, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Reed, Richard Laughlin, Fid Roffworn, of Cumberland; Charles Jewel, David Byers and son, John, of Ridgeley; Mr. and Mrs. William Bissett and daughter, Vivian, and sons, Joseph and Francis, of Thomas; John Manion, Mrs. Anna Kight, Mrs. Genevieve Brady, of Frostburg; Francis Herbert, of Mt. Savage; Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Melody, Misses Mamie and Beatrice Fahey, Mrs. Allen, Mrs. Zaycot, Mrs. Mary Dorsey, and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde LaRue, of Keyser. Mr. Bissett was born and reared in Piedmont. After his marriage to Miss Bertie Stewart (sic) of this place, they moved to Cumberland, whence they moved to Keyser a few years ago. He had been employed as engineer for the Western Maryland Railway for about thirty years. Later he engaged in the restaurant business. Besides his wife, he leaves a sister, Mrs. John E. Healy, of Piedmont; and four brothers, William Bissett, Thomas; Keyran, Ligouri and DeSales Bissett, of Piedmont. Though he had been in ill health for several years, he had been seriously sick only a few days. His remains were brought here to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McGreevy.
