The deceased was the widow of the late Joseph Bradley, and had been ill for a long time. She is survived by five sons and two daughters, as follows: Joseph, Samuel, Benjamin, John and Mrs. Leonard {sic-Leander) Foye, all of Barton, and Mrs. James Carmack, of Pittsburg." The Cumberland Times, Cumberland, Maryland 27 Apr 1909: "The pallbearers at the funeral of Mrs. Phoebe Bradley, in Barton, Sunday afternoon were: William Russell, Henry and Ernest Creutzberg, Theophilus George, August Frenzel and James McDonald. It was a large funeral and fully 25 carriages were filled with the relatives of the deceased. Rev. William Anthony of the Barton M.E.
