Brown, 57, formerly of Westernport, died suddenly Tuesday night at his home at Masontown, Pa. He was ill only one day. Requiem mass will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock at Masontown and interment will be in St. Michael's cemetery, Frostburg. A son of the late Patrick H. and Annie Brown, he formerly resided in Westernport. He was superintendent of mines for the W. Va. Pulp & Paper Co. at Luke. More recently he was located at Jenkins, Kentucky, whence he moved to Masontown. Besides his widow, Mrs. May (Neff) Brown, he is survived by several daughters, a sister, Mrs. Anthony Davis, Frederick, and three brothers, Harry, manager of the Lexington hotel, New York, Bernard, State College, Pa., and Frank Brown, of Bear Creek, Montana."
