Carey, 64, of 206 West Fairview street, Piedmont, who died unexpectedly Monday night at his home, was celebrated this morning at St. Peter's Catholic church, Westernport. The Rev. Michael Kenneth Carney, pastor of St. Peter's church, Oakland, and a cousin of Mr. Carey, was celebrant of the mass. Interment took place in the parish cemetery. A native of Piedmont, Mr. Carey was a son of the late James F. and Margaret (Carney) Carey. He was employed as a machinist by the Baltimore and Ohio railroad and was a member of the International Machinists. Mr. Carey held membership in St. Peter's church, the Holy Name Society of the parish and Piedmont Council 865, Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Madeline (Cuddy) Carey; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Frances Beam, of Atwater, Calif., and Mrs. Evelyn Schrenker, of Jacksonville, Fla., and six grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers were Charles J. Laughlin, Patrick J. Healy, James T. Small, John B. Determan, Charles Jackson, Edward F. Laughlin and William P. Kelly, all of the Tri-Towns, and Charles H.
