Carey, 40, of 206 West Fairview street, Piedmont, who died Tuesday night in the Allegany hospital, Cumberland, will be held at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning at St. Peter's Catholic church, Westernport. The Rev. Kenneth Carney, of Baltimore, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. A son of the late James and Margaret (Carney) Carey, Mr. Carey was a native of Piedmont but had been employed for several years at the naval air base at Jacksonville, Florida. He returned here last February and took a position with the Kelly-Springfield Engineering company. He had been ill for eight weeks and had been in the hospital since October 7. Mr. Carey was a member of St. Peter's Catholic church, of Piedmont Aerie No. 707, Fraternal Order of Eagles and of Black Hawk Tribe No. 131, Improved Order of Red Men. Surviving are his brother, Francis J. Carey, of Piedmont, and a sister, Mrs. Carl J. Schrenker, of Jacksonville, Florida."
