"Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, Fri 12 May 1919: "
Patrick Conley, aged 46, died Thursday at his home on Mount Pleasant street. He was 
drawing a drink of water from a spigot when he fell over and expired. He had been 
employed by the Consolidation Coal Company at Hoffman mine for the past 12 years. 
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m., from St. Michael's Catholic Church. 
Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, two sons, 
Henry and Joseph Conley, Frostburg, and three sisters, Mrs. Patrick Stanton, of 
Virginia; Mrs. George Gregory, Frostburg, and Miss Margaret Conley, New York."
