CONNELLY, James A. Cumberland-Evening Times” Sat 1 Feb 1908: “
Cumberland-James A. Connelly, the five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Connelly, 
died yesterday afternoon at Allegany Hospital from intestinal troubles. He was a 
bright little fellow and had been a sufferer for a long time. Mr. Connelly is a 
travelling engineer of the B & O R. R. and resides on Arch Street. The funeral will 
occur at 10 o’clock Monday morning with services at the house, conducted by Father 
Roth, of St. Mary’s Church. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.”
