CONNELLY, Patrick T. “Evening Times’ Cumberland, Maryland, Thu 26 Mar 1942: “
Patrick T. Connelly, 75, of 13 Holland Street, Braddock, Pa., died Tuesday. A former 
telegraph operator for the Union Railroad, he had been retired for nine years. The body 
will arrive here tomorrow at 1:05 p.m. and will be taken to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Mt. 
Savage, for burial. Mr. Connelly was born at Cresaptown, as son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin 
Connelly. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. N. R. (Galvin) Connelly; one son, Regis; a 
daughter, Miss Rose Mary, all of Braddock; one brother, William B. Connelly, Pittsburgh.”
