ELIZABETH (HOLTZMAN) CONRAD
"Death."  Frostburg Mining Journal.  November 2, 1895. 

Mrs. Elizabeth Conrad, wife of Daniel Conrad, of this place, died Saturday, 
October 26, 1895, aged 73 years.  Funeral Monday at the English Lutheran Church.  
Mr. Conrad, six daughters, and three sons survive--Mrs. Philip Michael, Mrs. 
Anthony Gerlach, Mrs. J.L. Towles, Mrs. Henry Gerken, of this place; Mrs. 
William Shaw, of Grafton, W. Va.; Mrs. Elmer B[i]ttner, of Connellsville, Pa.; 
Thomas, of Marion, Ohio; Elmer E., of Meyersdale, Pa., and John H., of this 
place--all grown and married.  Mrs. Conrad was a most useful and estimable lady-
-one who served well her day and generation.
