Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Tue 18 June 18 1895:  
"Funeral of Mrs. Cordial--Mrs. Catherine Cordial, wife of Mr. Peter Cordial, 
whose death at Eckhart Mines, on last Saturday morning, has been in this paper, 
was buried yesterday at Frostburg, with high mass, from St. Michaels church, 
and the interment was in the cemetery connected to with the church.  The 
deceased was sister to Mr. Wm. Kirby, of this city, who with his wife attended 
the funeral yesterday. She was a sister to Mr. John Kirby, of Vale Summit, 
also.  A daughter-in-law of the deceased died about a month ago, and as Mrs. 
Cordial was very attentive to her, it is thought her own death was brought 
about by over exertion.  A son and daughter of the deceased are lying very low 
at her late residence at this writing."
