Cumberland News, Cumberland, Maryland, Monday, May 8, 1967:  
"Miss Gertrude Cosgrove, 90, formerly of Frostburg and Cumberland, died Saturday in 
Los Angeles, Calif.  Born in Frostburg, she waa daughter of the late James and Esther 
(Snyder) Cosgrove.  A former employe of Lazarus Store here, she moved to LosAngeles 
upon her retirement some 20 years ago.  Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Firmin H. 
Doerner, Los Angeles, and a number of nieces and nephews.  Services and interment 
will take place in Los Angeles."
