She became worse and her condition was deemed so serious that the operation was advised at once. Before her marriage Mrs. Crichton was Miss Margaret Muir, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Muir, former residents of Lonaconing. With her husband she removed to East Pittsburgh about six years ago. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, John, also by the following brothers and sisters: Edward, John and Ellis Muir, of Plymouth, Pa.; Mrs. Sam P, Stewart, of Lonaconing; Mrs. John Johnson, Mrs. James Jones, Mrs. Morris Rollings, and Miss Pearl Muir, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Muir, of Plymouth, Pa. The funeral will take place in East Pittsburgh today. Mr. Crichton, who was prominent among the younger citizens, and a leading member of Good Will Fire Company, and other organizations, is a son of the late John Crichton, on Douglas avenue, where his widowed mother and family still reside. He had the sympathy of a large number of friends in his hour of sad bereavement." This file is located at http://files.usgwarchives.net/md/allegany/obits/c/crichton-mm.txt
