Mr. Cross was born April 9, 1894 in St. Geoge, a son of the late George and Sarah (Delauder) Cross. Empl;oyed at the Armour Lether Company here for 37 years, he was a member of St. John’s Methodist Church; Lodge 39, IOOF, and Rebecca Lodge 95. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lydia (Phillips) Cross; a son, Harold Cross, here; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Gordon, College Park, Md.; Mrs. Betty Chase, Akron; Mrs. Phyllis Want, Ottawa, Canada, and Mrs. Louella Phillips, St. Mary’s; a brother, Wesley Cross, Parsons; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Strum, here; Mrs. Rissia Shrout and Mrs. Staudia Burkey, Nanty Glo, Pa., and a grandchild. Rites were held this afternoon.
