The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, 31 Jan 1902:  
"Catherine, {sic-Bridget} wife of Mr. Patrick Cuff of Franklin 
who has been an invalid for a number of years, passed away from 
a complication of diseases Jan, 28, 1902 aged 65 years. She 
leaves besides her husband, six children to mourn their loss: 
Mrs. James Harrigan, Miss Ella of Phildelphia; Mrs. Thomas 
Murphy, Mrs. Michael P. Cosgrove of this place; Patrick of 
Thomas, this state. The funeral took place yesterday from St. 
Peters Catholic church."
