Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland 16 Feb 1937: 
"Westernport-Patrick Cullen, 77, native of Ireland, died Saturday 
at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hobart Patrick, 326 Maryland 
Avenue.  A resident of this community for over sixty years, he was 
employed as a coal miner until about 10 years ago when he retired 
on account of ill health.  His wife, Catherine Cosgrove Cullen, 
died 33 years ago.  He is also survived by four sons, Martin and 
James Cullen, Baltimore; John Cullen, New York, and Joseph Cullen, 
United States Army, Cheyenne, Wyoming.  He was a member of the 
Holy Name Society of St. Peter's Catholic Church.  Funeral services 
were held this morning from St. Peter's Catholic Church with 
interment in the church cemetery."
