Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, 12 Jan 1962: 
"LONACONING - George Daley, 80, died last night at his home 
on Detmold Street. Born in Newcastle; England, he was a 
retired coal miner. His wife, Mrs. Mary A. (McGinty) Daley, 
preceded him in death. Surviving are a son, Thomas Daley; a 
daughter, Mrs. Isabelle Winters, both of Lonaconing, five 
grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. The body is at 
the Eichhorn Funeral Home where services will be conducted 
Sunday at 1 p. m. by Rev. Frederick H. Duke, pastor of St. 
Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery."
