The Cumberland News, Cumberland, Maryland, Sat 16 Oct 1976: 
"LONACONING - Thomas E. Daley, 67, of Island Street, died 
Thursday at his home. Born in Pennsylvania, he was the son 
of the late George Daley and Mary Ann (McGinty) Daley. He 
was a veteran of World War II and was a member of Alvin C. 
Neat Post Veterans of Foreign Wars, St. Mary's Catholic 
Church and was a retired salesman. Surviving are his widow, 
Mrs. Miriam (Spiker) Daley; one daughter, Miss Kathleen 
Daley, at home; one son, Michael Daley, with the Marines at 
Camp Lejeune, N. C., and one sister, Mrs. Isabelle Winters, 
here. Friends will be received at the Eichhorn Funeral Home 
today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. 
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 
9 a.m. at St. Mary's Church. Interment will be in Sunset 
Memorial Park, Cumberland. The rosary will be recited at 
the funeral home tomorrow evening."
