The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, Fri 1 Feb 1924: 
"Mary Juanita Davis, three months old daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. John Davis, Paxton street, died on Monday morning 
from spinal meningitis. The funeral service was conducted 
at the home Wednesday morning by Rev. J. J. Leary, 
assistant pastor of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Interment 
was in St. Peter's cemetery."
