Va., Oct. 4-Mrs. Anna Frances (Dugan) Deegan, 56, wife of James Deegan, died at her home, 71 Gilmore street, Keyser, suddenly of a heart attack early this morning. A native of Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dugan. She was a member of the Church of the Assumption and director of the choir and member of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin of the church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Wolfe, of Keyser; Miss Joann Deegan, at home; three sons, Cpl. James M. Deegan, with the Marines in China; S2-c John T. Deegan, with the Navy at Bainbridge, and Bernard Deegan, at home; three brothers, Thomas L. Dugan, Cumberland, Md.; Michael L. Dugan, of North Vernon, Ind., and Edmund J. Dugan, at home. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. P. M. Curley, of Parkersburg; Mrs. W. J. Laffey, of Keyser, and Miss Edith Dugan, at home. No arrangements have been made."
