Cumberland Times, Cumberland, Maryland, 16 Sep 1963: 
"Ben Deffinbaugh, of LaRose, Illinois, a former resident ot 
Cumberand, died September 7 in St. Mary's Hospital there.  
He had been hospitalized about one month.  Surviving are a 
sister, Mrs. Lottie Henry, residing in Illinois, and a 
brother, Boyd Deffinbaugh, Cresaptown, and several nieces 
and nephews."
