Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Saturday 21 July 1945:  
"Mrs. Amelia F. Deter, 80, mother of Mrs. Lillian Detrick, this city, died 
at the home of another daughter,  Mrs. G. L. Kimes, Martinsburg, W. Va., 
yesterday.  A native of Dawson, Md., Mrs. Deter was the wife of the late 
Bradley Deter.  The body will be brought to Cumberland early Monday 
afternoon and taken to Rose Hill cemetery for interment.  Besides the two 
daughters a son, ?. A. Deter, of Aliquippa, PA., also survives."
