Four sons and three daughters survive him. Mr. Devine was employed for many years in the coal mines at Franklin, but of late years had retired from active life. He was well known and respected throughout George's Creek mining region. The funeral took place Wednesday morning from St. Peter's Catholic church, Westernport, Rev. Chas. Heath, officiating.
