Harry Devlin, one of the three remaining patients at the Cottage State hospital, died at 10 o'clock today. The total dead now number 65, and this probably completes the list as the two still at the hospital are doing well and will probably recover. Devlin's home was at Lonaconing, Md. Special services for the dead were held in all the Protestant churches of the Coke regions today and after the burial of Father Fienello, which will take place tomorrow, the Catholic churches will hold mass for the dead. The bodies of about thirty of the victims were taken on early trains. Those remaining identified will be shipped within the next twenty-four hours and the unknowns, will be cared for by the borough council. A special meeting has been held to form a relief committee to look after bodies unidentified or unclaimed. In case no friends appear the citizens will see that the victims are not buried in the Potter's Field." This file is located at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/md/allegany/obits/d/devlin-h.txt
