Devlin, husband of Margaret Dorsey Devlin, died yesterday at his home after a short illness. A native of Lonaconing, he was a son of the late Henry and Annie (Woods) Devlin. He lived in Barton for 30 years. A former coal miner, he retired in December. He was also employed as a fireman for the B & O Third Division. Mr. Devlin was a member of Barton Local, United Mine Workers of America, the Brotherhood of Firemen and Engineers, St. Gabriel's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Henry Dorsey Devlin, College Park; three sisters, Sister Mary Leonarda, Philadelphia, Pa., Mrs. Catherine Powers and Mrs. Leslie Clark, both of Lonaconing and four brothers, John Devlin, Midland, Christopher Devlin, Baltimore, Bernard Devlin, Pittsburgh, Pa., and Terrance Devlin, Lonaconing. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Gabriel's Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the home."
